Pumper Loader Operator – $21.29 (2nd Shift, Floater)

Job Description

Schedule: Monday-Friday (11am-8:30pm) with some weekend work and OT.

This position supports pumping and loading of oil.  Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

1. Unloading railcars and tank trucks.

2. Ensuring that the seal matches the proper container and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) before pumping.  The seals must be properly placed on containers before they leave the property.

3. Responsible for pumping oil in the correct tank and ensuring that the correct oil is going to the packaging line.

4. Inspecting railcars and tank trucks to ensure they are empty before sealing.

5. Keeping area and equipment clean at all times.

6. Making sure all pour back goes into the proper tank.

7. Responsible for changing oil filters on each line weekly.

8. Unloading/Loading finished goods and scrap trucks.

9. Ensuring cleanliness of the area and perform general clean up.

10. Filling out necessary paperwork for additive addition and placing additives into tanks.

11. Complete the necessary documentation for truck loading/unloading.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience:  Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills:  Must have basic computer skills - data entry

Competencies:  Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams; learn and follow written rules and procedures; produce accurate documentation; maintain acceptable attendance; must be willing and able to learn various positions; and must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies

Additional Information

Physical:  This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
