As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Façade Engineer to join our Façade Engineering division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Façade Engineer to join our Façade Fire Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in façade or fire engineering, along with knowledge of external wall systems and relevant fire safety legislation, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Preparing Fire Risk Appraisal reports to PAS 9980 and assessing external wall systems
• Delivering façade fire engineering assessments, site inspections and technical advisory services
• Supporting façade design engineering projects and undertaking third-party reviews

Qualifications

To be a successful Façade Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline
