About the Role
The Corporate Governance Trainee will help our team organize and secure our department's records. The role has two main goals: completing our annual physical archiving project and digitizing incoming paper mail. This position ensures all corporate files are neatly filed, accurately tracked, and easy to find in our digital system.
Key Responsibilities
- Annual Physical Archiving: Sorting, auditing, and organizing year-end physical folders and corporate filings.
- Correspondence Management & Digitization: Handling all incoming physical mail and official corporate paperwork by executing the end-to-end processing workflow:
- Scanning: Digitizing physical documents ensuring copies are clear and complete.
- Naming: Renaming scanned files precisely according to strict departmental protocols.
- Platform Uploads: Uploading digitized files to the internal governance platform and adding correct tags.
- Physical Filing: Securely filing away the original paper documents once the digital process is complete.
Requirements
- Elegibility: Willingness and ability to enter into an internship agreement or student job
- Organisation & Methodical : Ability to manage large volumes of paperwork, keeping physical and digital folders neatly sorted and easy to navigate.
- Detail-Oriented: High precision with standardized file-naming conventions and archiving to ensure no documents are lost or misfiled.
