Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to support month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and compliance across multiple legal entities and currencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.- Support in preparation of financial statements with proper schedules and reconciliation
- Support in ensuring seamless month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met in accordance with our internal reporting calendar.
- Liaise with operations to ensure the Reconciliations and Schedules are complete on time with qualify
- Liaise with both upstream and downstream to ensure the Accounting for entities are flawless and maintain Chart of Accounts
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and support financial reporting.
- Providing management with timely information is vital to the decision-making process
- Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably within the IT/Technology services industry.
- Strong understanding and practical application of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing accounting activities across multiple legal entities in a global environment.
- Proven experience with multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Ability to review, analyze, and validate financial information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reconciliation activities.
- Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new ERP systems, accounting platforms, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Sage Accounting (General Ledger module) and Power BI for financial reporting and analytics.
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Prior experience working in a multinational organization supporting global finance operations.
- Additional accounting, finance, or financial reporting certifications will be considered an advantage.
