Base Salary: $40,000 annually, Plus commission, there is a three month commission guarantee to offset new to role.
Vehicle: Company‑provided, gas card, laptop and cell phone
Job Purpose
Spirit Omega Inc is currently seeking a Sales Representative to support our client in Whitecourt, Alberta. The successful candidate will bring experience in the construction or equipment rental industry, a strong ability to uncover new business opportunities, and a passion for building long‑term customer relationships.
The primary objective of this role is to maximize revenue and market share within the assigned territory by developing new accounts and growing existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase sales and overall branch revenue
- Prospect and establish new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and in‑person visits
- Develop creative and effective sales strategies and evaluate their performance
- Identify customer needs and build productive, long‑lasting relationships
- Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate or follow up on sales leads
- Attend internal meetings, sales events, and training sessions
- Maintain and expand a customer database within the assigned territory
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience within the construction industry
- Strong computer proficiency
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Self‑motivated, driven, and results‑oriented
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset

- 3–5 years of proven outside sales experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to provide a recent driver’s abstract
