Video Content Supervisor

Job Description

As part of our Video Content Operations business, Believe Distribution Services is seeking a highly experienced professional to join our international Video Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing YouTube video content services, ensuring compliance with platform policies, and providing seamless support to global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of YouTube monetization, Content ID, YTAT (YouTube Automated Tracking), and YTAF processes and how they operate.

• Provide prompt, no-delay support to global clients and teams, ensuring seamless operations.

• Manage asset and metadata effectively within YouTube CMS.

• Research patterns to prevent unauthorized activity and investigate occurrences as needed.

• Flag and report problematic content or potential violations.

• Generate and maintain weekly reports on content operations.

• Communicate effectively with global teams, ensuring smooth coordination and support.

• Stay up to date with dynamically changing YouTube policies, guidelines, and updates.

• Handle work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

• Supervise and manage a small team (minimum 2 members), providing guidance, feedback, and support for optimal performance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong YouTube CMS skills are essential.

• Proven experience in managing and mentoring a small team.

• Strong communication skills with respect and empathy; excellent hold on global communication.

• Attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities.

• Quick learner with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly organized, reliable, independent, and proactive in improving processes and tools.

• Digital-friendly and self-motivated; capable of taking ownership of tasks.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a passion for digital content and technology.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in media, preferably in music or video operations.

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with YouTube CMS.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

• YouTube Certification preferred.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
