About You
You are a commercially minded and analytical professional with strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills. Confident working with data, you can translate insights into clear recommendations that support revenue growth and informed decision-making. You build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-moving environment where market conditions and priorities can change quickly. Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused, you enjoy working as part of a team to identify opportunities, improve processes and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
About The Role
The Revenue Manager plays a crucial role in driving profitability and maximising revenue for our unique Australian businesses by developing and implementing effective pricing strategies and inventory management practices. This involves analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behaviour to optimise rates across various offerings. The Revenue Manager collaborates closely with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure alignment in strategy and to create compelling packages that attract diverse visitors. By leveraging data analytics and revenue management tools, the role focuses on enhancing the overall guest experience while ensuring financial performance aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and develop pricing strategies, including ongoing management of Dynamic Pricing models.
- Establish pickup and channel targets to drive performance and accountability across sales channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to inform pricing decisions.
- Conduct financial reporting and analyse key performance metrics, such as guest numbers, occupancy, yield, and gross margin.
- Manage pricing strategies for online travel agencies (OTAs) and oversee wholesale group allocations.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and process improvements, and develop promotional campaigns with post-campaign analysis.
