Job Description
- NPI & Production Readiness: Lead and support new product introductions in production by ensuring readiness of manpower, machines, tools, and processes in collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and achieve cost efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures and drive corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean, Six Sigma Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to improve operational performance and efficiency.
- Technical Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production and technical issues related to processes, materials, suppliers, and customers.
- KPI Management: Monitor production KPIs and implement effective systems to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar engineering role, in wire harness, automotive, or electronics manufacturing (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, line balancing, and process flow
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and control plans
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data driven approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results under pressure
