Job Description

About the Role

As a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will provide technical support and maintenance services for commercial kitchen appliances and systems. You will work independently and as part of a broader maintenance team to deliver high-quality service outcomes in line with Sodexo’s safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and associated appliances
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related faults efficiently and safely
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company procedures
  • Deliver high levels of customer service while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

  • A current WA Electrical Licence
  • Gas servicing ticket
  • Full WA Driver's Licence
  • Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Experience servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment (preferred)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage service priorities effectively
  • A commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
  • The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • A current National Police Clearance within 6 months.
