Senior Developer - Integration

Job Description

Join Viva as a Senior Integration Developer and play a key role in powering the connections that keep our business moving. In this role, you’ll design and build modern, scalable integration solutions across APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, and data flows leveraging Azure’s native integration services to deliver seamless system connectivity.

You’ll work across a diverse landscape of platforms spanning Customer, Finance, Product & Supply, Digital, and People systems, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable data exchange across the organisation. Responsibilities & Requirements

• Integration Patterns: Developing an integration patten that aligns with the Viva’s goals and objectives, leveraging Azure native capabilities.
• Interface and API Design: Collaborating with stakeholders to design system interfaces and APIs that enable efficient and secure data exchange between applications and systems that are predominately SaaS and PaaS services.
• Data Flows and Messaging: Design and implement data flow patterns and messaging architectures to facilitate reliable and real-time data exchange between systems.
• Integration Development: Lead the development and implementation of integration solutions, including designing and building integration workflows, data mappings, transformation logic, and error handling mechanisms.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing and executing test plans and strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of integration solutions.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Creating technical documentation, including integration specifications, architectural diagrams, and best practices guides.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as Senior Integration role, with Retail Experience
• Proven Azure Integration Platform Services experience using API Management, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Data Factory, Service Bus and/or Azure Functions
• Proven experience in software development in C# and .Net Framework, Rest API development and writing/optimising database queries (SQL)
• Strong experience rolling out complex reusable patterns into cloud environments.
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD practices and tooling, using Azure DevOps
• Knowledge about Terraform or Azure Bicep modules.       
• Understanding of APIM and app gateway.       
• Proven experience leading software development teams /squads
• Proven experience in Agile ways of working to enhance products & services through engineering best practises
• Strong architecture skills, preferably with an emphasis on Integration, designing across multiple applications or domains
