Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Colliers Industrial Advisory team as a Senior Project Manager on a 12-month contract. In this newly created role, you’ll be embedded in-house with one of our major corporate clients, leading the delivery of new industrial projects from inception through to completion.

Your focus will be to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to program, while supporting the client with Development Advisory and Project Management services across a range of upcoming projects.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Deliver multiple industrial projects across the full development lifecycle, from inception to completion
  • Manage all required local authority approvals, including conditions precedent under AFL or D&C contracts (where applicable)
  • Ensure projects meet performance briefs, specifications, drawings, approvals, NCC standards and quality benchmarks
  • Partner closely with the client to optimise outcomes through design and value management, improving cost, functionality and efficiency
  • Manage project budgets, consultant and contractor claims, ensuring accurate financial reporting and delivery within agreed budgets

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ industrial project management experience, ideally within a developer, D&C contractor or consultancy
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, project management or a related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and make sound decisions
  • Solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and Safety in Design principles across industrial developments
