About the Team
Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
To move quickly on hardware, we need parts, materials, and vendors lined up without slowing engineering down. Our hardware team depends on strong supply chain and procurement execution to keep builds on schedule, inventories organized, and critical items available when needed.
About the Role
As a Supply Chain / Procurement Specialist at Droyd, you will own purchasing, vendor coordination, and parts logistics for the hardware team. You will help make sure the right parts arrive at the right time and that materials and inventory stay organized.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and excited to be a key part of a fast-moving hardware operation.
This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
In This Role, You'll
Purchasing & Vendors
Own purchasing and procurement for hardware parts, materials, and shop needs
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage quotes, orders, and lead times
Inventory & Logistics
Track inventory, deliveries, and part availability
Help organize incoming parts, materials, and hardware supplies
Reduce delays by keeping procurement and logistics running smoothly
Team Support
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and the shop team to anticipate needs
Communicate part status, lead times, and risks clearly
Work Environment & Schedule
On-site in San Francisco, CA
Full-time
Compensation: $85K–$120K base salary, plus equity
We're Looking For Candidates Who
Are highly organized and detail-oriented
Have experience with procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or hardware operations
Can manage many moving parts and shifting priorities
Communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams
Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have:
Experience in robotics, manufacturing, hardware, or prototyping environments
Experience with BOMs, inventory systems, or vendor management
Experience supporting engineering or shop teams directly
