Job Description

As the Change & Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in embedding new digital capabilities across the University, ensuring change is delivered in a way that is sustainable, inclusive and aligned with business needs. Working as a trusted partner to stakeholders, you’ll help translate strategy into action and support the University’s digital future.

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end change and communication activities to support the successful adoption of new digital initiatives

  • Develop and deliver business readiness, engagement and communication plans that minimise disruption and maximise value

  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to assess change impacts, readiness and change appetite

  • Drive continuous improvement of change and communication frameworks, tools and approaches

  • Enable capability uplift through targeted learning, engagement and transition support activities

  • While cyber security experience is not required, an interest in technology-enabled change, cyber awareness and behaviour-led communications will be highly regarded.

You will also have:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience leading change and communications initiatives within complex organisations

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Experience supporting digital, technology or business transformation programs

  • A collaborative, adaptable approach with strong written and verbal communication skills

What we can offer
This is a 12 month fixed term, full time position primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary 

HEW 8 - Base range - $117,579.27 - $132,273.33 + 17% superannuation. Full package range - $137,567.74 - $154,759.79.
