Associate Software Engineer - ROR

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer. The ideal candidate should have around 6 months of professional experience in software development, with exposure to Ruby on Rails and familiarity with React.js or other modern frontend technologies.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features
• Contribute to frontend development tasks using React.js where required
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, ability to break down complex problems and find effective solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following development best practices
• Debug issues, troubleshoot bugs and support application enhancements
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering workflows
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks

Requirements:

• Around 6 months of experience in software development
• Good understanding of Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with React.js or other frontend frameworks is a plus
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Good problem solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a team oriented environment
• Strong logical thinking and problem solving ability.
• Ability to work in Eastern Time Zone hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM PKT)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic background in Computer Science or a related field
• Internship or project experience in full stack development
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
