Job Description
We are seeking 2 x Electrical Service Technicians with strong mechanical background or exposure to join a high-performing field service team supporting critical rail and port operations across Victoria.
Operating in a 24/7 environment, this role supports a major national freight and logistics operation, ensuring high availability and reliability of complex crane and industrial lifting equipment.
Positions available:
- Electrical Service Technician - Day Shift
- Electrical Service Technician - Night Shift
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining cranes and heavy industrial equipment
- Performing preventative, corrective, and emergency breakdown maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving complex electrical faults with mechanical interaction understanding
- Supporting repairs, installations, commissioning, and retrofit works
- Responding to urgent breakdowns in a 24/7 operational environment
- Working closely with site operations teams and stakeholders
- Completing accurate service reports, safety documentation, and job updates
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification

Qualifications
- Fully qualified Electrical Licence (essential)
- Electrical service experience with mechanical background or strong mechanical exposure
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability in industrial environments
- Ability to work in high-pressure, time-critical situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- Experience in cranes, heavy industry, rail, or similar environments highly regarded
