Operations Lead-3rd shift, Fri-Sun, 6am-6:30pm

Job Description

Responsible for successfully leading the departmental team producing, completing tasks, and receiving and shipping product in a safe, accurate and timely manner.  Keeps crew on task and meets deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks.
• Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer). 
• Accurately completing work order sheets.
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed. 
• Completes reports and reviews for management.
• Maintains great communication with all departments in the Distribution Center.
• Handles and deals with customer, carrier, and employee issues.
• Follows set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.

Additional Information

The hiring range for this role is $21.81 - $27.26 (Hourly).  Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  The team members occasionally required to walk, bend, stoop, and squat or kneel.  The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds in RTW.   The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds in RAW. The team member will frequently stand for a 10-12 hour shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
