We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Manager to join our growing sales organization. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting the foundation for successful enterprise sales. Your leadership will be critical in driving outbound sales efforts, fostering a high-performing sales culture, and contributing to the achievement of ambitious revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of sales development representatives (SDRs), providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with overall company goals.
- Monitor key metrics and analyze sales development performance to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
- Ensure the team maintains high levels of activity, productivity, and goal attainment.
- Continuously improve sales development processes and tools to increase conversion rates.
- Support sales leadership with pipeline management and forecasting as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and scaling sales development teams, preferably within healthcare technology or SaaS industries.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal teams and interact with prospects.
- Solid understanding of sales development strategies, tools, and best practices.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs and implement improvements.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, or similar tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
