Job Description
- The Patient Engagement Manager, CEE is responsible for operational execution of patient engagement and advocacy activities across CEE countries, in alignment with the CEE Community Engagement strategy.
- The role focuses on direct interaction with patient advocacy groups (PAGs), supporting the implementation of community engagement initiatives, projects and activities that reflect patient needs and insights, while ensuring full compliance with internal governance, legal and regulatory requirements.
- The position works under the guidance of the Community Engagement Manager CEE, contributing to the delivery of CEE‑level strategy driven priorities through country‑level execution and coordination.
- Furthermore, a key responsibility of this position is to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in close collaboration with healthcare compliance and legal teams
Main responsibilities:
Patient Engagement & Advocacy Execution
- Support and execute patient engagement and advocacy activities in assigned CEE countries.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) and relevant community stakeholders.
- Support planning and execution of patient meetings, workshops, advisory boards and patient‑focused disease awareness initiatives, in alignment with Community Engagement plans.
- Ensure patient engagement activities reflect identified patient needs and priorities.
Country‑Level Coordination
- Act as a patient engagement contact for assigned countries, in close collaboration with local teams.
- Support localization and execution of CEE‑level community engagement projects.
- Coordinate activities with cluster/country teams to ensure alignment with local context and business priorities.
Patient Insights & Knowledge Sharing
- Support collection and documentation of patient insights from interactions with PAGs and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to sharing patient perspectives with internal stakeholders to support strategy and project development.
- Ensure insights are captured in line with internal standards and governance.
Qualifications
- University degree
- Experience in patient engagement, community engagement, advocacy or related roles within pharma, healthcare or non‑governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Experience working with patient organizations is highly desirable
- Understanding of health system and healthcare decision making, including regulatory, safety, legal and compliance environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to build trust‑based relationships with patient organizations
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to work in cross‑functional and multicultural environments
- Understanding of compliance requirements related to external engagement
