Integration Software Engineer - Platform Solution

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Integration team in the Platform Solution CH/FL domain, with a specialized focus on data integration and orchestration using the Avaloq Core Platform (ACP). This role is critical in ensuring that data flows seamlessly between internal systems and external interfaces, enabling efficient and reliable end-to-end processes across the banking platform.

Your key tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows using ACP to connect internal systems and external services.
• Develop and support interfaces and APIs for real-time and batch data exchange, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Ensure robust error handling, monitoring, and logging for all integration processes to support operational excellence.
• Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Document integration designs, data mappings, and technical specifications in line with best practices and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Integration of third party apps.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting and/or C#.
• Databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Oracle DB, Firebase
• Networks & Protocols TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, DNS, SSH, FTP, TLS/SSL, Load Balancing, CDN, OAuth, SAML, JWT
• Applications & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD Tools, Jira, Confluence, VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Postman, Jmeter, SonarQube, Spring Framework

It would be a real bonus if you have:

• Hands-on experience with ACP (Avaloq Core Platform) or similar data extraction frameworks.
