Job Description
The Junior Technical Sales Representative for Food & Feed will support the development of Anton Paar’s business in the food and feed sector, with a strong focus on milling, cereal processing, baking, ingredients, extrusion, and food manufacturing industries.
The role combines technical consulting, application support, and sales activities for advanced laboratory and pilot-scale instrumentation used in material characterization, rheological analysis, quality control, and process optimization.
- Develop and grow customer relationships within the food, feed, cosmetic, and pharma industries
- Promote analytical and process instrumentation solutions for quality control, R&D, and industrial process optimization
- Perform technical demonstrations, customer training, installation support, and application consulting activities
- Support customers in method development, material characterization, rheological analysis, and process optimization
- Collaborate with customers and factory teams to solve technical challenges and develop application-oriented solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing existing accounts
- Represent Anton Paar at scientific conferences, trade fairs, and industry events through technical presentations and application discussions
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer information within the CRM system
Travel regularly across the assigned territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Initial experience or strong interest in food processing, analytical instrumentation, rheology, extrusion technologies, or industrial laboratory environments
- Motivation to combine technical expertise, application development, and customer-facing activities within a commercial environment
- Ability to understand industrial processes and translate technical concepts into practical customer solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver technical seminars, application discussions, and customer trainings
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with strong customer focus
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Valid driving license
