Software Developer (f/m/d) C# / .NET

Job Description

As software developer (f/m/d), you will work with colleagues from different disciplines and locations, to improve the function and usability of our optical measuring devices. You will accompany the software from the initial product ideas through to series production. As part of an agile team, you will work on the conception of new features and implement them with defined design drafts while adhering to a sustainable architecture.

• Development: You work independently on the development of new embedded and desktop software releases for our measuring devices.
• Front to Backend: You develop the technical design and implement it across all layers—from the User Interface via the Service Layer to the Backend, which integrates the device drivers and implements persistence.
• Architecture & Design: With your software design, you bring our sustainable architectures to the next level and ensure they keep getting better and more future oriented.
• Teamwork: You enjoy sharing the benefits of your implementation with the team as part of code reviews or small tech talks, to achieve a technical level that continuously improves with the team.

Qualifications

• Education:  You have successfully completed your degree in computer science, mathematics, or another natural science field and preferably already have at least 2–3 years of experience in C# / .NET software development.
• Experience:  Do you have experience as a full-stack software developer (m/f/d)? Are you familiar with WPF, HTML, or other frameworks for UI development? Great! Then you have the expertise to develop our future-oriented software.
• What we require:  You have high quality standards in your work, analytical thinking, and a strong technical understanding.
• Working style:  You work with colleagues across multiple disciplines and sites. You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly and friendly, and handle tasks pragmatically and with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Communication:  In order to participate in communication across multiple sites and projects, you are able to communicate in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel:  For the interdisciplinary professional exchange, you are willing to visit our other locations in Germany and Austria at irregular intervals.
