Business Intelligence Sr Analyst (Tableau)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Sr Analyst (Tableau) to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will leverage your expertise in Tableau and data analysis to create impactful visualizations and reports.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations
• Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
• Develop and implement ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Optimize data models and query performance to enhance dashboard efficiency
• Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau and data interpretation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies, recommending improvements to our current processes and tools
• Contribute to the development of data governance policies and best practices
• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive data-driven initiatives across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau, including dashboard design, data modeling, and custom visualizations
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and data warehousing
• Expertise in data visualization techniques and best practices
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Knowledge of additional BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification preferred
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining BI dashboards and reports that drive business value
• Strong understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
