Job Description

We're a vibrant, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering a seamless and high-quality shopping experience for pet lovers across Europe. As our Quality Assurance Manager for Shop Operations, you will play a key role in safeguarding quality standards across our online shops while ensuring that operational knowledge is captured, structured, and continuously improved.

In this role, you will own quality assurance frameworks and execution across shop operations processes, working closely with Shop Operations Leads, Specialists, and cross-functional stakeholders. At the same time, you will continue to build and maintain our central knowledge base, ensuring that processes, standards, and best practices are clearly documented, accessible, and up to date.

This is a temporary role (18-months replacement) with high impact and visibility, ideal for someone who enjoys combining quality ownership, process thinking, and knowledge management in an international e-commerce environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously develop QA standards for shop operations processes, including product activation, content updates, onsite campaigns, and promotional execution
  • Perform regular quality checks and audits across markets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined standards
  • Identify quality gaps, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Partner closely with Shop Operations Leads to embed quality standards into daily workflows and ensure sustainable execution
  • Support process optimization initiatives by providing QA insights and structured feedback
  • Maintain, structure, and further develop the central Shop Operations knowledge repository (e.g. SOPs, guidelines, training materials, best practices)
  • Ensure documentation stays aligned with current processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Actively promote knowledge sharing and standardization across Shop Operations teams
  • Support onboarding and upskilling initiatives by providing clear, accessible documentation and trainings
  • Work cross-functionally with Campaign Management, Category Management, and other stakeholders to address quality-related topics
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, clarity, and operational excellence within Shop Operations

Qualifications

  • Education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Very good English skills (minimum C1); additional European languages are a strong plus
  • 2-3+ years of experience in e-commerce, shop operations, content management, QA, or a related operational role
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce processes, content workflows, and onsite campaign execution
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools and knowledge management systems (e.g. Jira, Confluence, SharePoint or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see patterns and systemic issues
  • Structured, analytical, and process-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment
  • Customer-focused mindset, balancing quality standards with operational efficiency
  • Experience with reporting or data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
