Job Description
The squad “Global Vendor Services (GVS)” has the following responsibilities:
• Ensuring international production capability for CPE services and international access
• Supporting product development through international expertise
• Developing concepts for license management and the implementation of international service-enabling functions
• Managing suppliers through effective vendor management
• Conducting technical contract negotiations with providers
• Ensuring the international end-to-end logistics and service chain, including performance management of hardware and CPE field service providers
Responsibilities
- Conduct requirement analyses taking into account specific business requirements and implications
- Develop business and process models within the scope of responsibility and align them with relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to the integration and implementation of new technological solutions and products
- Evaluate requirements and integrate them into technological solutions, including assessing technical implementation options
- Act as a bridge between ISP partners, business units, and technical departments
- Clarify operational prerequisites and the use of existing interfaces with relevant stakeholders
- Prepare technical design documents (e.g., functional or technical design concepts)
- Perform cost-benefit analyses
- Support and oversee technical implementation, testing, and acceptance, including necessary project management requirements and documentations
- Lead projects
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1)
- German language min. B1-B2 (follow discussions, and understand technical content)
- Strong knowledge in the application of IT processes, methods, and tools, as well as business analysis and quality assurance practices
- Detailed knowledge of the information technology and telecommunications industry, including market, technology, and competitive environments
- Knowledge of network engineering and network development, cloudification, software-defined networks, and global WAN infrastructures
- Knowledge of the international telecommunications market
- Experience in contract negotiations and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to assess technical, commercial, and operational risks, as well as experience with governance and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills to correctly understand complex customer requirements
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with excellent teamwork abilities
- Confident presence and strong presentation skills
