Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Assistant to join our HR team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave period. This role will support daily HR operations, employee administration, and internal HR activities, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
Main Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR administrative activities
- Manage employee documentation and maintain HR records updated
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare contracts, declarations, and other HR-related documents
- Support attendance, vacation, and absence management
- Coordinate medical appointments and mandatory employee documentation
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support internal communication and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies
- Collaborate with external partners when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in HR administration or HR support roles
- Degree or professional training in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or similar area
- Good knowledge of Portuguese labor law and HR administrative processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Experience with HR software is a plus
- Fluency in Portuguese and good level of English – French is a plus
