Production Operator - Weekend Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an Ink maker/Ink Tech to work with us Friday, Saturday and Sunday days from 5am-5:30pm. We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. If you are looking to start a new career with a stable company that grows its leaders from within, then INX International is the right place for you. The person in this role will specialize in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech you will be responsible for:

• Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
• Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
• Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjust as needed
• Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
• Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
• Making QC adjustments as instructed
• Weighing quantities of raw materials 
• Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner 
• Packaging finished product
• Operating a forklift

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
• Have Fork lift experience
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have basic math, communications and mechanical logic skills
• Be capable to complete multiple tasks
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• Understanding of 5S workplace
• Knowledge of TPM
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Ability to work overtime, weekends
