IT Infrastructure and Applications Team Lead

Job Description

BESIX Watpac is seeking an IT Applications and Infrastructure Team Lead to deliver proactive, results-driven solutions that align with business needs. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of infrastructure and application professionals ensuring a strong focus on enterprise applications and Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) systems.

This role will be responsible for:

• Overseeing team performance and productivity while fostering the ongoing development of team skills and knowledge.
• Oversee and continuously improve IT operations, including monitoring systems, system and application management with up-to-date patching, cyber risk and security compliance,
• Infrastructure oversight such as proactive management of cloud infrastructure, on-premise infrastructure, backups and software upgrades.
• Application oversight including but not limited to:
  • Ensuring ERP tasks is completed on time by ERP team members
  • Managing software patching
  • Proactive management of software licensing
• Establishing and developing relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver monthly report and metrics on term performance against service delivery targets.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require:

• Experience in a similar role within an infrastructure or applications with prior leadership experience.
• Relevant degree in Information Technology and ITIL Foundation certification.
• Extensive technical and procedural knowledge in aspects of technology lifecycle management, AWS, hybrid cloud, backup solutions, Microsoft 365, ERP.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly translate business needs into technical solutions.
