Snr. Accountant

Job Description

As a Snr. Accountant this position has to manage all finance activities in Miltenyi Biotec Singapore, including Quarterly GST filing, preparation of Corporate Tax Reporting, and Year End closing process. This position needs to have an enhanced understanding of the overall operating activities in the company and good knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP.

• Make sure all invoices are properly supported by proper supporting documents including GST including AFI as well;
• Has to monitor Accounts Receivables Aging to provide the cash flow status for local management;
• Has to monitor the Fixed Asset Aging and share the retirement information with Admin to replace the retired asset;
• Has to manage General ledger and Balance Sheet Reconciliation as well;
• Has to have hand-on practice to cover all the above areas;
• Performing Month end closing and Year end closing including the variance report for Marketing team to ensure MKT is managed withing the annual Budget;
• Prepare quarterly GST filing, and file on/before due date;
• Prepare Annual Reporting package including any necessary schedules;
• Need to be supervisor the overall External audit together with APAC Fin director;
• Also, propose any revision for Travel and Expense policy and ensure the company T&E policy is implemented properly, and need to educate all employees in Singapore;
• Has to be involved in Budget and Forecasting to help F&A Director. This includes preparing the workbook template to assist the country manager with Sales BU preparation;
• Should be ablet to lead Corporate Initiative Fin related Project as Project representative at local site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with Business Administration or Accounting;
• At least 10+ years of Work experience;
• Good knowledge of Local GAAP and EU IFRS processes;
• Familiar with SAP.
• Fluent English of both oral and written;
• Be familiar with SAP system;
• Team player.
