Senior IFS Solution Architect (IGT1)

Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior IFS Solution Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture, design, and governance of IFS Cloud solutions across multiple business domains. The role will provide strategic and technical leadership throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle, ensuring that the solution meets business requirements, industry best practices, scalability, security, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Lead end-to-end solution design for IFS Cloud implementations.
• Develop functional and technical solution blueprints.
• Define system architecture, integration architecture, and deployment strategies.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and solution validation sessions.

Functional & Technical Leadership

• Provide guidance to functional and technical consultants.
• Review and approve solution designs and configuration approaches.
• Drive cross-functional integration across Finance, Procurement, HCM, Projects, EAM, CRM, and Supply Chain modules.
• Ensure adherence to IFS implementation best practices.

Integration & Data Architecture

• Define integration patterns and interfaces with third-party systems.
• Review API, middleware, and data migration strategies.
• Support cutover and Go-Live planning.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Act as trusted advisor to customer management and project stakeholders.
• Lead architecture review sessions.
• Identify project risks and mitigation plans.
• Mentor consultants and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years ERP implementation experience.
• 5+ years experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Experience leading enterprise ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of:
