About the Role at RobCo
At RobCo, we develop AI-powered robotic systems that make industrial processes more autonomous, efficient, and scalable. Our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combines modular industrial hardware with physical AI, enabling rapid deployment and continuous optimization in real production environments.
With locations in Munich, San Francisco, and Austin, and backed by leading investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, we are working to redefine industrial automation.
At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Head of Global PR & Communications (m/f/d) to help us establish RobCo as a leading provider of automation solutions.
In this key role, you will be the voice and storyteller of RobCo. You will shape how the world perceives our brand, our technology, and our vision, driving our global narrative across Europe and the US during a phase of rapid scaling.
Your Responsibilities
Strategy & Narrative: Own and execute RobCo's PR and communications strategy globally; develop and continuously refine our positioning, narrative, and messaging framework.
Executive Visibility: Lead founder and executive communications, including thought leadership, LinkedIn strategy, our podcast (RobTalk), external appearances, and keynote opportunities.
Media Relations: Build relationships with top-tier media across business, tech, manufacturing, and robotics — driving proactive coverage around fundraising, product launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
Global Expansion: Shape the communications strategy around RobCo's US expansion and support investor communications as well as financing announcements.
Partner Management: Manage external PR agencies, freelancers, and communications partners effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Growth, Product, and Leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Media Readiness: Prepare executives and spokespeople for interviews, media engagements, and public appearances.
Employer Branding: Support employer branding initiatives to help position RobCo as a standout employer in industrial technology.
We're Looking for Someone Who Has:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in PR, Communications, Corporate Communications, or Brand Communications, ideally within high-growth startups, scale-ups, or B2B tech companies.
Executive Track Record: Strong understanding of founder-led communications and executive visibility programs.
Strategic Growth Mindset: Experience with investor communications, fundraising announcements, or US market expansion is a strong plus.
Industry Affinity: Familiarity with manufacturing, automation, robotics, or AI is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in both German and English.
Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong ownership mentality.
