Specright is the first purpose-built, patented platform for Specification Management. Whether it's packaging, raw materials, formulas, products, or machines, Specright helps companies digitize, map, and take action across their supply chain to reduce costs, increase profitability, and drive sustainability. Specright serves customers across industries, including packaging, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, retail, industrials, and more.
Specright is hiring a Salesforce Engineering Delivery Lead to build and lead our offshore Salesforce engineering organization. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of 6–10 Salesforce developers based in the Philippines, while staying hands-on in the platform yourself (roughly 50-60% of your time in code and architecture). Your team will span two workstreams that are critical to Specright's growth: implementation delivery on our Salesforce-native platform and ongoing managed services. You will report into the Sr. Manager of Technical Services and Integrations.
This role is highly visible. You will be accountable for delivery quality, utilization, and margin contribution from your team, and for shaping how Specright scales its Salesforce engineering capability over the next two to three years, including Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE).
Location and Hours
This role is 100% remote and based in the Philippines. You will need to overlap with US business hours (Pacific and Eastern) for leadership syncs, customer calls, and strategic-account work.
Key Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Lead and grow the team
Manage a team of 6-10 Salesforce engineers covering implementation, internal development, and strategic-account work
Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development for the Philippines engineering and managed services team
Build the operating cadence – standups, code reviews, sprint planning, retros – that keeps a distributed team aligned with US-based leadership and customers
Coach engineers on technical depth, customer communication, and delivery discipline
Forecast capacity and utilization for your team in partnership with PS leadership; flag bench risk and pop-up demand early
Contribute to services margin goals through staffing decisions, productivity improvements, and reuse
Maintain Certinia and project hygiene so that staffing, forecasting, and reporting reflect reality
Deliver customer implementations
Own end-to-end delivery quality across active implementation projects, partnering with the Director of Professional Services and Implementation Engineering Manager on scoping, staffing, and risk management
Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex Salesforce configuration, Apex, LWC, and integration challenges
Drive on-time, on-scope delivery while protecting professional services margin targets
Lead the team's internal Salesforce development roadmap, including Agentforce-based agents and automation that improve how Specright runs its own GTM and CS operations
Partner with Product and Software Engineering to evaluate when to build on the Salesforce platform versus a separate runtime, and make the trade-offs explicit
Establish reusable patterns, components, and accelerators that make the team faster on every subsequent project
Support strategic accounts
Embed senior engineers from your team into strategic accounts (Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Caterpillar, and similar)
Translate customer business problems into technical solutions on the Specright + Salesforce platform, and make sure those solutions feed back into product and reusable IP
Build trusted technical relationships with customer architects and IT leaders
Develop long-term vision for Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) services
Stay hands-on (50-60%)
Personally architect and review the highest-complexity Salesforce solutions – Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, data model
Lead code reviews and set the technical bar for the team
Contribute to deployment, CI/CD, and environment management practices (DEV → TEST → UAT → PROD)
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce
3+ years leading Salesforce engineers, ideally in a SaaS or consulting environment
Demonstrated track record managing distributed or offshore teams that serve US-based customers
Deep experience with Salesforce configuration: Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, security model
Strong working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, middleware, and data migration
Experience with version control (Git), Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience owning delivery in a professional services or implementation context, including utilization, margin, and project profitability
Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable interfacing directly with enterprise customer stakeholders
Preferred
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or higher)
Hands-on exposure to Agentforce, Einstein, or other Salesforce AI capabilities
Experience building reusable accelerators, frameworks, or managed packages on the Salesforce platform
Background working with global enterprise customers in supply chain, CPG, manufacturing, or packaging
Experience contributing to a forward-deployed engineering or strategic-account model
