Intermediate In-Home Caregiver

SRX Home Care, LLC, operating under the Happier At Home brand, is seeking a dedicated Intermediate In-Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in Northeast Iowa and surrounding areas. In this role, you will assist seniors and individuals with limited mobility or health challenges in maintaining their independence and comfort within their own homes. Your responsibilities will include supporting personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, providing medication reminders, transportation assistance, and offering friendly companionship to improve clients' quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Prepare and assist with nutritious meals and grocery shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with health routines as needed.
• Offer companionship and mental stimulation through conversation and activities.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in caregiving or related healthcare role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and safety procedures.
• Must pass background check and saliva drug test.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
