Western-Trained Consultant Physician - Internal Medicine

Astra ProMed is seeking a Western-Trained Consultant Physician specializing in Internal Medicine to join our esteemed healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide spectrum of adult medical conditions. This role entails working within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation.
• Manage acute and chronic internal medicine conditions with a focus on best practices and evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with specialty teams, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Engage in patient education, counseling, and support to promote health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to institutional and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in clinical audits, research, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution with Western training background.
• Board certification or equivalent specialization in Internal Medicine from Western medical boards.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure for practicing in UAE.
• Minimum of 3-5 years post-certification clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
• Strong clinical acumen in managing diverse internal medicine cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and engage patients.
