Posted about 4 hours ago
We're looking for a creative, technically curious Technical Video Content Producer to own the end-to-end production of product marketing videos - from scripting and screen-recorded UI demos through editing, motion graphics, publishing, and distribution. You'll turn complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visual stories for enterprise IT and security audiences, supporting product launches, customer education, sales enablement, and brand awareness.
Reporting to Corporate Communications and partnering with product marketing and product management, you'll work with technical subject matter experts, manage feedback and revision cycles, coordinate freelancers or vendors when needed, and help evolve our video templates, standards, and asset libraries as we scale our in-house video capability around BlueCat's Intelligent NetOps platform and AI-driven solutions.
Video Production and Content Creation
- Own the end-to-end production workflow - intake, scripting, editing, publishing, and distribution - for product and corporate video content.
- Produce product overviews, feature explainers, platform walkthroughs, customer education, launch, and technical storytelling videos that translate complex concepts into clear narratives for enterprise IT and security audiences.
- Capture and edit product UI demonstrations and develop storyboards, scripts, motion graphics, visual callouts, and instructional flows, including transitions, diagrams, and overlays.
- Ensure content aligns with BlueCat's brand and positioning, and support marketing and communications across campaigns, launches, webinars, social media, events, and executive communications.
- Maintain and evolve video templates, standards, and asset libraries for scalability, and publish and optimize content across YouTube, web, social, and sales enablement channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product marketing, product management, communications, demand generation, and creative teams - and with technical SMEs - to identify priorities and understand workflows, use cases, and customer pain points.
- Manage stakeholder feedback and revision cycles efficiently while maintaining quality and timelines, and coordinate external freelancers, voiceover talent, or vendors when needed.
Technical Communication and Storytelling
- Balance technical depth with accessibility for technical and executive audiences, applying instructional pacing and UX thinking so viewers quickly grasp product capabilities.
- Create narratives that emphasize customer value, operational outcomes, and real-world use cases, and continuously evaluate emerging video, animation, and AI-assisted production tools to improve efficiency and quality.
What You Bring
-
3+ years producing video content for B2B SaaS, enterprise software, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, developer tools, or technical education - with a track record of product-focused videos that explain complex software and workflows.
-
Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro and strong After Effects skills, with solid motion graphics and visual storytelling for UI demos and technical explainers.
-
Experience with screen capture tools (Camtasia, OBS Studio, ScreenFlow, Descript or similar) and strong scripting, storyboarding, and technical communication skills.
-
Hands-on use of AI-assisted production tools for editing, transcription, captioning, localization, audio cleanup, and lightweight animation; familiarity with platforms like Runway, Adobe Firefly, Synthesia, or Descript strongly preferred.
-
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across global, cross-functional, and executive stakeholders.
-
A portfolio of product videos, software demonstrations, technical explainers, or instructional content (required).
You're entrepreneurial, self-directed, highly organized, adaptable in a fast-moving environment, collaborative and open to feedback, and hold yourself to high ethical standards.
