Dandy
Posted about 6 hours ago
Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.
About the Role
As a key driver of Dandy’s expansion into Northern Europe, the Ops Manager / Country Lead (Netherlands) will step into a high-ownership, highly entrepreneurial role akin to being an operations lead at an early-stage startup. Operating out of a satellite pod structure, you will head on-the-ground operational efforts in the Netherlands while closely collaborating with our regional teams.
The first 3 to 6 months will be focused exclusively on executing a seamless market launch. Once the market is stabilized, this high-leverage generalist role offers a distinct pathway to scale your career—whether by managing and growing the local Netherlands footprint, focusing on aggressive expansion across new Northern European geos, or serving as a broad strategic generalist.
What You'll Do
Market Scoping & GTM Strategy: Visit early customers on the ground to glean product feedback, build trust, finalize pricing/packaging structures, and establish the market's long-term Go-To-Market strategy.
Launch Preparation & Logistics: Deploy Dandy’s end-to-end business operations across new borders, ensuring zero friction in cross-border fulfillment, laptop provisioning, and scanner delivery.
White-Glove Customer Success: Actively manage customer onboarding and support functions for your market's early cohort to guarantee an exceptional user experience and safeguard a stellar regional reputation.
GTM Systems Optimization: Partner directly with the RevOps and Business Systems teams to troubleshoot SFDC/CRM workflows and eliminate bugs as the regional footprint scales.
Supply Chain & Field Operations: Drive local fulfillment processes to ensure elite turnaround times, proactively managing hardware tracking (scanners and laptops) and resolving customs or shipping holds.
Data Analytics & Monitoring: Build dashboards in partnership with the Data team to monitor market-specific core metrics and feed insights directly into Weekly Business Reviews (WBR).
What We're Looking For
Experience: 4–7+ years of operations or strategy experience, ideally within a high-growth tech startup, top-tier management consulting firm, or marketplace model.
Thrives in Ambiguity: A natural problem-solver who can navigate the fog of early-stage market entry, build processes from scratch, and independently execute under tight constraints.
Hands-on Operator: A "driver" mentality with a willingness to roll up your sleeves—whether that means visiting dentist offices locally, manually troubleshooting technical bugs, or unblocking cross-border shipping holds.
Analytical Rigor: Highly proficient in data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets; SQL/Looker experience is a strong plus) with an ability to synthesize data sets into strategic operational insights.
Excellent Communicator: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the emotional intelligence required to unify cross-functional stakeholders across product, tech, supply chain, and revenue divisions.
Language: Full professional fluency in both Dutch and English is strictly required.
Bonus Points For
Experience or deep familiarity with the dental, healthcare, or medical device industries.
Prior experience setting up global entities, cross-border operations, or international GTM teams.
