We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven QA Analyst to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of quality across our SaaS platform. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating features built for three core portals at both the admin and end-user level. You will also play an active role in identifying and driving quality of life improvements across the platform.
This is a high-impact position where your work directly influences the reliability, usability, and overall experience of tools used daily by our manufacturer, distributor, and channel partner customers.
Who are we?
Buyers Edge Platform stands at the forefront of revolutionizing the foodservice industry through technology, purchasing power and partnerships. We are dedicated to empowering stakeholders across the entire foodservice ecosystem (operators, distributors, manufacturers) with efficiency and unprecedented visibility. With a diverse portfolio of over a dozen brands, our mission is clear: to reduce costs, streamline the foodservice supply chain, and propel the industry from manual to automated.
Today, we are one of the largest players in foodservice, with over 200K operator locations across North America and over $50 billion of aggregated spend volume. Our commitment to foodservice excellence is proven in four distinct areas of value: Digital Procurement Network, Fresh Solutions, Supply Chain Management, and Software. Buyers Edge Platform is not just a provider – we are a strategic partner on the journey towards a more efficient, connected, and automated future for the foodservice industry.
This hybrid role is based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization.
Your impact:
- Portal QA & Feature Testing
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for new features and enhancements across the Manufacturer, Distributor, and Channel Partner portals.
- Perform thorough testing at both the admin level (configuration, permissions, data management) and the end-user level (workflows, UI, functionality), validating behavior against acceptance criteria, business requirements, and design specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear reproduction steps, severity classification, and timely follow-up.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify usability pain points, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across three customer portals, and partner with product and design to advocate for solutions.
- Provide structured feedback on UX flows, error handling, and edge case behaviors during sprint reviews and demos.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA documentation; communicate test results, risk assessments, and release readiness clearly to stakeholders.
About you:

- 1-3 years of experience in a QA Analyst or Software Tester role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Experience testing web applications at both admin-facing and end-user facing levels.
- Strong ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and test documentation.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking and project management tools.
