Opportunity

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Oncology team at an NHS Foundation Trust serving the community of West Norfolk and the surrounding region. We are seeking a motivated and clinically excellent Consultant in Medical Oncology with subspecialty expertise in Breast and Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) oncology.

This is a clinically rich and professionally rewarding post. The successful candidate will hold a central role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and will work at the heart of our multidisciplinary oncology service. The post spans both outpatient clnic work and the MDT-led management of patients with breast and HPB malignancies, alongside a commitment to the broader medical oncology service.

We are committed to supporting our consultants to deliver excellent care and to thrive professionally. The post includes a generous Supporting Professional Activities (SPA) allocation, flexible job planning, and a structured on-call commitment. Candidates with a strong interest in clinical trials, research, or service development are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applications from full-time and less-than-full-time candidates are equally welcome. This post represents a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact on cancer outcomes in West Norfolk, within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
