ABOUT THIS POSITION

Digital Extremes is seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team in London, Ontario. If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a secure, high-availability service for millions of players, we encourage you to apply.

Please note this is an onsite position at our London, Ontario studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive support for internal stakeholders regarding connectivity and security concerns.
  • Address and resolve incoming tickets pertaining to network performance and security systems.
  • Deliver technical guidance to staff for troubleshooting network-related obstacles.
  • Manage user accounts on a variety of network and security platforms: 2FA, remote access, wireless, voip, etc.
  • Engage in active monitoring of network and security platforms to uphold the integrity of our high-availability services.
  • Maintain a consistent onsite presence at our studio location.
  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal communication and the capacity to manage diverse priorities in a rapid-deployment setting.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how core network and security protocols function (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with critical security systems, including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Network and Security Monitoring platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Completion of a program in network/systems administration is preferred.
Please note that the salary range mentioned in this job description should serve simply as a guide. The final compensation offered may vary based on a variety of factors, including bonuses and/or incentives, or a candidate’s experience, skills, budget and location.

Salary Range: $55,000- $65,000 CAD
