A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Independence, MO is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join its clinical team. This role focuses on providing care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with a patient population ranging from adolescents to older adults.
This opportunity offers a competitive salary, flexible schedule options, and a team-based clinical environment with 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants. Documentation is completed through WebPT.

Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
EMR System: WebPT
Salary Range
- $65,000–$70,000 annually for new graduates
- $80,000–$90,000 annually for experienced Physical Therapists, based on years of experience
Schedule Options
The clinic strongly prefers one of the following schedules:
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinical Environment
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
- Clinical Team: 2 PTs and 2 PTAs

What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients and identify movement limitations, pain concerns, strength deficits, balance issues, and functional goals
- Create treatment plans that support recovery, mobility, strength, and return to daily activity
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility work, and functional movement training
- Teach patients home exercise programs and safe progression strategies
- Track patient response and revise plans of care as needed
- Document evaluations, visits, progress notes, and discharge plans in WebPT
- Coordinate with PTAs to support continuity of care
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and referral sources
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient education skills
- Ability to work professionally with patients across a wide age range
