We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time role in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is focused on helping patients recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, improve movement, build strength, and return to daily activities with better function.
You will work in a modern outpatient setting with a clinical team that includes Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Preferred Work Schedule Options
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Details
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and identify physical therapy needs
- Create care plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and clinical findings
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using appropriate PT interventions
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
- Track patient progress and adjust care plans when needed
- Educate patients on home exercises, activity modification, and safe movement
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress updates in WebPT
- Work with PTAs and the clinical team to support consistent patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based clinic setting
