Full-Time Remote LCPC Counselor | Montana Behavioral Health Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to join a remote behavioral health team serving clients in Montana. This position is focused on providing virtual counseling, helping clients manage mental health symptoms, improve coping skills, and work through personal or relational challenges in a structured therapy setting.
You will spend your time in client sessions, reviewing progress, updating care plans, documenting services, and helping clients stay engaged in their treatment. This role is practical, client-centered, and built for an LCPC who wants consistent full-time clinical work without an in-office requirement.
Position Information
- Location: Montana
- Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Complete intake evaluations and identify client needs at the start of care
- Write treatment plans that reflect client goals, clinical symptoms, and recommended interventions
- Provide ongoing counseling for mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma-related concerns, and adjustment difficulties
- Review client progress and make appropriate changes to treatment goals
- Keep session notes and clinical records current
- Maintain professional communication with clients and internal team members
- Follow ethical, legal, and clinical standards for telehealth counseling
- Identify when a client may need crisis support, emergency services, or a higher level of care
Requirements
- Active Montana LCPC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
- Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices
