Montana LCPC Telehealth Counselor | Full-Time Remote Therapy Position
Job Summary
We are looking for a Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who can provide consistent, professional therapy services in a remote setting. The LCPC in this position will work directly with clients through virtual sessions, helping them understand patterns, manage symptoms, build practical coping strategies, and move toward healthier daily functioning.
The work is steady, clinical, and client-facing. You will conduct sessions, document care, update treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to individuals who need access to quality counseling without the barrier of in-person appointments.
Position Overview
This is a full-time remote LCPC role serving clients in Montana. The position offers a salary range of $115,000–$120,000 per year, full benefits, and a consistent Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with clients through scheduled video-based counseling sessions
- Assess mental health concerns, client history, current stressors, and treatment goals
- Build clear treatment plans that reflect the client’s needs and clinical presentation
- Provide therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-related concerns, relationship challenges, adjustment issues, or other behavioral health needs
- Track client progress and adjust care plans when appropriate
- Keep clinical records complete, clear, and compliant
- Use sound judgment when identifying risk factors, safety concerns, or a need for a higher level of care
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and ethical standards in a remote care environment
Requirements
- Active Montana LCPC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
- Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices
