Minerva Marine, a leading maritime company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Administrator. This is a critical role within our company that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Communicates, coordinates and maintains the appointment agenda between the Insurance Manager and other departments and/or third parties/insurance contacts.
- Maintains office files and records.
- Assists in all administrative activities.
- Receives and refers visitors and telephone callers.
- Distributes mail and responds with formal letters to routine requests.
- Assembles relevant data as directed.
- Produces a variety of correspondence and reports.
- Handles administrative aspects of Group Medical Program.
Requirements
- University degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Insurance, Maritime, Law).
- Shipping industry experience and specifically in operations and claims functions will be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
- Driven with good organizational skills and ability to resolve conflicts smoothly.
- Excellent communication skills, building relationships easily, high empathy.
