ABOUT MINERVA

Minerva builds AI for marketing leaders. Our platform lets marketers focus on telling the story of their brand while AI agents handle the operationally intensive work: data management, analytics, campaign generation, measurement and reporting.

Everything is built on Minerva's proprietary consumer graph: an identity and attribute layer covering 270M+ U.S. consumers across 2,000+ through-time attributes. On top of it sit two agentic systems built in partnership with OpenAI: an Agentic Data Engineer that unifies and standardizes a brand's first-party data in hours, and an Agentic Data Scientist that trains robust targeting models at scale. Together, our data and platform improve the quality of a brand's first-party data, lift campaign performance and give marketing teams their time back.

We work with leading consumer brands across categories, including the NBA, Capital One, Hard Rock Stadium Group / Miami Dolphins, Wander and Trust & Will. We've raised $20M from The General Partnership, 8VC, Lingotto, NBA Investments, Topology Ventures, Future Positive, Background Capital and many others. Our team brings together operators and investors from Citadel, Dentsu, Bridgewater, Meta Superintelligence and Lazard, alongside researchers from Berkeley, MIT, Stanford and Cambridge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to our CEO, helping build operating leverage for both the CEO and the broader company. This is a high-impact, high-trust role at the center of the business, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and is energized by the opportunity to touch every part of a growing organization.

The role is intentionally fluid. You will act as the CEO's deputy, ensuring the company runs smoothly when the CEO is pulled in multiple directions, and serving as a key thought partner to the CEO, co-founders and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This is a 2–3 year trajectory role designed to build deep business context before transitioning into a senior operational or leadership position within the company.

MISSION

Optimize and expand the CEO's time, and act as a key thought partner for how to build Minerva and manage our growth over the next 24 months.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Create and refine key materials: GTM decks, fundraising narratives, board presentations, 1-pagers, talking points, financial models and pricing models, so the CEO is no longer taking the first pass

  • Prepare the CEO and ELT for Board of Directors and weekly ELT meetings

  • Liaise between the CEO and functional leaders to surface key issues, maintain alignment and keep an ear to the pulse of the organization

  • Own and maintain the CEO's priorities, the ELT task dashboard and key operational cadences

  • Drive ELT meetings toward clear measurement and accountability, reducing the CEO's need to mediate cross-functional friction

  • Optimize the CEO's calendar and time allocation, shifting focus toward high-leverage activities (major commercial opportunities, hiring, partnerships, fundraising, strategic positioning)

  • Take on 1–2 company-building or operations projects per month beyond core responsibilities (e.g., events, activations, hiring initiatives)

  • Over time, serve as a trusted representative of the CEO in both internal and external communications

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • The CEO's calendar reflects significantly more time on high-leverage work and less on ops, materials creation and internal people management

  • The ELT operates like a well-oiled machine with clear metrics and mutual accountability, the CEO is no longer the primary mediator of cross-functional issues

  • Materials for meetings and initiatives are drafted and polished before the CEO touches them

  • You are consistently identifying and executing on company-building projects that move the business forward

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, big law, talent agencies, consumer marketing or a previous Chief of Staff role supporting a senior executive

  • You have high intellectual horsepower but are thoughtful about how you deploy it, you don't need to be perceived as the smartest person in the room

  • You are hyper detail-oriented and polished, you hold yourself and others to a high standard of quality

  • You are a graceful, precise communicator, both written and verbal, internally and externally

  • You finish what you start, zero tolerance for dropped balls or incomplete follow-through

  • You can build and command respect across senior leaders in the business through a combination of credibility, work ethic and interpersonal skill

  • You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable with a role that evolves as the company grows

TRAITS WE VALUE

Integrity • Ownership • Humility • Grace • Curiosity • Work Ethic • Agency • Attention to Detail • Humor • Horsepower

WORK STYLE

This role demands someone whose work style mirrors the CEO's: highly accessible, thorough, always-on and deeply intentional about how they communicate with others (internally & externally). If you take pride in the craft of your work and care about getting the details right, this is your role.

COMPENSATION

150K–250K base salary, commensurate with experience.
