Talent Associate

XXXX MONTU GROUP UK

Posted 1 day ago

This is a role for someone who wants to build a career in talent acquisition from the inside of a business that does not stand still. You will be working alongside an experienced recruiter, getting hands-on with real hiring across a specialist clinical function, and learning what it actually takes to hire well at pace and at scale.

Recruitment experience is not essential. What matters is that you are organised to your core, genuinely good with people, and the kind of person who takes pride in getting things right even when everything is moving fast. Every person we hire has a direct impact on a patient. That is not a throwaway line. It is the reason we take hiring seriously and why we need someone who does too.

What is the job?

You will be supporting hiring across a specialist clinical function, working closely with hiring managers and keeping the engine running behind the scenes so that every candidate has a good experience and every role gets filled with the right person. Application volumes are strong, but we are not content to just wait. We want someone who thinks creatively about how to find and attract brilliant people before they are even looking, because the clinicians and specialists we hire are the people our patients rely on.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting end-to-end hiring across a specialist clinical function

  • Building relationships with hiring managers and helping them make confident, timely decisions

  • Getting creative with sourcing through social media, direct outreach, networking, and proactive pipeline building

  • Helping to develop and strengthen Montu's presence in the talent market so the best people know who we are

  • Understanding the roles you are hiring for well enough to know what good looks like and why it matters for patient care

  • Keeping the ATS up to date and candidate communications running smoothly

  • Spotting what is not working and saying so

What are we looking for?

  • Someone already at Montu who is ready for a new direction, ideally something more people-focussed

  • Naturally curious and not afraid to challenge the way things have always been done

  • Exceptional organisation, you do not drop balls and you do not need reminding twice

  • Great communicator with warmth and confidence in equal measure

  • Able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm when the volume picks up

  • Someone who understands that every hire we make sits behind a patient interaction

  • Happy to be onsite at least three days per week

Nice to have:

  • Some exposure to recruitment, HR or coordination

  • Familiarity with an ATS

  • A genuine interest in healthcare or in what Montu is building

What we offer:

  • Generous Leave: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year three) + 8 bank holidays

  • Pension Matching: Up to 5% employer matching contributions

  • Flexibility and Wellness: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, private healthcare and more

  • Growth Opportunities: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impact

  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave
