Key Responsibilities:

Port and optimize software GNSS algorithms onto embedded platforms
Work in the lab to integrate, test, and demonstrate GNSS functionality on target hardware
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate GNSS performance and deliver a working lab demonstration

Job Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Background in GNSS, navigation, signal processing, or wireless communications
Experience with embedded systems development (bare-metal or RTOS)
Proficiency in C/C++; Python skills a plus
Ability to work hands-on in a hardware lab environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

Experience porting software-defined radio (SDR) or software GNSS receivers (e.g., GNSS-SDR, SoftGNSS)
Familiarity with GNSS signal structure (GPS L1 C/A, Galileo, BeiDou, etc.)
Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A or RISC-V embedded processors
Knowledge of DSP concepts: correlation, FFT, carrier/code tracking loops
Experience with Git version control
Familiarity with RF front-end hardware and signal chain from antenna to baseband
Prior lab experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or RF test equipment is a plus
