About The Role

We're building the operating system for in-house legal. As the first Program Manager, Academy at GC AI, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GC AI's award-winning educational program and growth engine, the GC AI Academy.

You will shape the educational roadmap, integrating our industry-leading classes with our broader business and growth goals, and identify how our classes and engagement with attorneys drive measurable business outcomes across adoption, pipeline, and retention. You will work directly with a cross-functional team of solutions attorneys, legal operations professionals, and data analysts to build and scale a multidisciplinary educational program that teaches lawyers how to leverage AI and drives measurable impact on GC AI's growth.

Why This Role Matters

We've raised $60M at a $555M valuation because we've built something legal teams love to use (70+ NPS, which is unheard of in legal software). Now we need a Program Manager who can help us extend that lead by turning our educational classes into a cohesive business strategy that drives adoption and pipeline.

As the first Program Manager, Academy, you will set the foundation for educational programming at a hyper-growth Series B Startup.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full lifecycle of the Academy program, shape the strategy, refine the roadmap for legal AI education, prioritize based on user data and business impact, and iterate based on what you learn.

  • Integrate class content into the larger GC AI business strategy, ensuring educational initiatives drive product adoption and support the conversion funnel.

  • Serve as the connective tissue between cross-functional partners in Marketing, Growth, R&D, and RevOps, aligning stakeholders and resources around the Academy mission.

  • Conduct ongoing discovery through user feedback, engagement analytics, and competitor analysis, and synthesize insights into a prioritized program backlog.

  • Partner with solutions attorneys and legal ops professionals who create the content and manage logistics to ensure high-quality class delivery.

  • Direct content strategy, determining which topics, formats, and delivery methods will have the highest impact on user activation, retention, and community growth.

  • Define and track Academy success metrics, including user engagement, course completion rates, adoption, NPS, and revenue attribution. Partner with data-focused analysts to run experiments and turn insights into program decisions.

  • Develop an evaluation framework to track class performance and instructor efficacy.

What You Have

  • 5-10 years of experience in program management, educational operations, or business strategy, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives tied to business outcomes..

  • Experience managing complex programs aligned with business metrics and growth funnels, without relying on direct engineering resources.

  • Familiarity with B2B / enterprise environments, including how programmatic initiatives affect sales cycles, retention, and expansion.

  • Ability to hold both big-picture strategy and ground-level execution.

  • Familiarity with AI and legal technology

  • Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information

  • Willingness to do whatever the team needs to make the program succeed

Nice To Have

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent advanced legal education preferred.

  • Early employee at a hyper-growth startup

  • Prior experience building 0→1 educational or growth programs

  • Experience at world-class enterprise companies (e.g., Ramp, Stripe, Palantir)
