We’re looking for people who are passionate about sports, embody accountability, collaboration, curiosity, positivity, grit, and excellence, and are motivated to help grow and elevate the communities we serve.

THE ROLE:

FloSports is seeking a part time Fleet Operations Dispatch Coordinator to support the daily operation, readiness, compliance, and travel coordination of our transportation fleet based in Bloomington, Indiana, where our trailers are located. This role will serve as the central point of coordination for fleet logistics, driver support, DOT compliance, vehicle and trailer maintenance scheduling, documentation, and incident response and work in Austin, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate daily fleet operations remotely from our Austin, TX office for FloSports vehicles and trailers based in Bloomington, Indiana.

  • Serve as the first point of coordination for schedule and travel fluidity, including responding to changing weather, hotel changes, route issues, timing adjustments, and other operational shifts.

  • Keep travel and operational tracking documents accurate and up to date, including sheets, rolling costs, and related scheduling records.

  • Maintain awareness of where drivers and trailers are located between shows and help ensure clear communication across operations.

  • Coordinate parking and storage logistics for trailers and fleet assets at storage sites.

  • Support and coordinate driver hiring, onboarding, and recordkeeping in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute regular fleet updates or scorecards to leadership, similar to a weekly dispatcher scorecard model.

  • Coordinate driver travel logistics and scheduling as needed.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet-related questions, issues, and day-to-day operational support.

  • Respond to and help escalate accidents, breakdowns, roadside issues, and other fleet incidents, including documentation and follow-up.

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Remote Operations and internal partners to ensure fleet operations align with production and event needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 3+ years of experience in fleet dispatch, transportation coordination, fleet compliance, logistics, or a related operations role.

  • Experience with vehicle maintenance scheduling, driver documentation, incident tracking, and operational recordkeeping.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving operational environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with drivers, operations staff, vendors, and leadership.

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and digital tracking systems.

  • Availability to respond to weekend calls, after-hours issues, and on-call situations when required.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience in motorsports, racing, live event logistics, broadcast operations, or similar environments.

  • Familiarity with FloSports remote operations, event logistics, and trailer-based production support.

  • Experience creating or managing fleet scorecards, compliance dashboards, or weekly reporting.

  • Prior experience hiring, onboarding, or coordinating drivers.

  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet compliance requirements.

  • CDL certification is preferred but not required.

CDL Requirement:

A CDL is not required for this role, but it is preferred. A CDL may provide added operational flexibility and a stronger working knowledge of driver responsibilities, but the primary purpose of this position is coordination, compliance, maintenance oversight, travel support, and issue resolution rather than regular operation of fleet vehicles.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Based in Austin, TX

  • Primarily in-house/on-site due to the location of trailers and fleet assets

  • Requires responsiveness during active travel periods, production weeks, and urgent operational situations

  • May require occasional weekend, evening, and on-call support

  • 20-30 hours per week
