LightFeather is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) that implements AI to modernize legacy federal applications. We help agencies modernize aging systems into secure, scalable platforms aligned with mission needs. Our teams design, build, and operate production AI/ML, modern data platforms, and cloud-native applications across DOJ, DHS, USCIS, IRS, DoS, and PBGC. This work spans ML models trained on 600M+ federal records, real-time analytics on Databricks, and full-lifecycle modernization in environments up to Top Secret. Modern engineering, federal delivery discipline. Our engineers are senior, deeply technical, and experienced operating inside federal environments. They pair AI/ML, cloud, and modern development expertise with hands-on experience across federal architecture, procurement, and compliance. Our work has earned strong recognition from federal partners — a standard we hold on every engagement. We pair modern capabilities — MLOps, generative AI, multi-cloud, human-centered design — with the disciplines federal systems require: DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, RMF and ATO support, and continuous monitoring. The result is innovation that is deployable, defensible, and built to last. Our work spans behavioral forecasting and anomaly detection in taxpayer-facing systems, identity resolution and biometric verification for immigration and law enforcement, operational analytics across the Department of Justice, intelligent automation on ServiceNow and Unqork, and BI modernization from Looker to Tableau. We partner closely with government product owners and prime contractors, delivering iteratively through Agile and SAFe with the documentation, security, and audit trail federal systems require. We help federal customers turn legacy systems into modern platforms, data into decisions, and mission priorities into measurable outcomes.
