Who We Are

Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work feels faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.

Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, humanity, and building things that last — not just shipping the next feature, but setting a standard for how modern teams (with humans and agents working together) think and execute.

About Us:

Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money.

In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About the Role:

Notion’s Community team brings our mission to life through people: a global network of passionate builders who teach, share, and create across every kind of workflow and craft. Across our core Ambassador and Campus Leader programs, and our broader community of enthusiastic Notion users, we’re building a global ecosystem of people who teach, share, create, and help others get more out of Notion. We’re hiring for our Community Operations team to build the operational engine behind that ecosystem—systems, tooling, and measurement that let our programs scale globally without losing the bar for quality or the human experience. You’ll sit at the center of how Community runs day to day, partnering closely with program owners, regional leads, Marketing, and Finance to build the foundations that help our global community ecosystem run more effectively over time. The systems you build will directly shape how our programs scale in the years ahead.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Design the operational engine behind Notion Community. Build the systems, workflows, tooling, and infrastructure that allow global community programs to scale with consistency, clarity, and care.

  • Make Notion the single source of truth for Community operations (databases, automations, dashboards, templates, and documentation) so teams execute with clean handoffs and shared visibility.

  • Own the operational experience behind programs—onboarding, member support, reimbursements, swag logistics, vendor coordination, and event operations—so it’s reliable and thoughtful across regions.

  • Define how we measure impact: operational standards, data hygiene, reporting cadences, and insights that turn community activity into decisions.

  • Increase scale and effectiveness through integrations, automations, and AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual overhead and let program teams focus on relationships and builder value.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • Deep Notion expertise: you can design scalable databases, workflows, automations, and operational systems that hold up as the program grows.

  • Systems fluency across modern community + ops tooling (e.g., Slack, Luma, Zapier, SwagUp, Tremendous, Discord, Hex) and good judgment about when to simplify vs. add tooling.

  • Strong ownership and a bias toward shipping: you proactively spot gaps, build from scratch, and iterate toward clearer, more durable systems.

  • High operational judgment and attention to detail: you can run complex workflows, maintain quality, and make process improvements stick.

  • Practical AI fluency: you use Notion AI (and AI-enabled workflows) to streamline work, improve support, and raise the team’s leverage.

  • You’ve supported member-facing programs or ecosystems where relationships, responsiveness, and experience quality deeply matter.

  • You’ve worked globally or across regions and understand how to build operational systems that maintain consistency while still allowing thoughtful localization for different markets and community needs.

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.

A Note on AI

You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we’ll make it explicit in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, move faster, and build more creatively.

Equal Opportunity & Accommodations
